Case Study
Environmental Design
I like to highlight this project as it combines several areas within the design-for-space process –
strategic planning, illustration, typography, photography (both provided and crowd-sourced), layout composition, environmental design, material selection, strategic planning and vendor partnering.

Nike's Seattle Seahawks Endzone Suite at Lumen Field needed a refresh. Concept was to highlight Seahawks Super Bowl XLVIII Win, their history, and their elite fans (the 12's) throughout the suite. The 3 primary walls in the suite are divided up to tell each of these stories.
Super Bowl Wall
Featuring a photography collage from their Super Bowl win underneath a bold chrome dimensional header. Their unique "Action Green" accent color was chosen as the wall color to make this area pop, especially since it is the wall best seen from field view.
Seahawks History Wall
Compromised of 10 clear acrylic panels + chrome corner standoffs with first and second surface vinyl for subtle dimensionality. The history motif is told with hand & vector illustrations of celebrated players, coaches, places and moments paired with bold and artful typography to chronologically tell the story in quotes, stats and meaningful captions.
12's Fan Wall
Collage of in-game, crowd-sourced, and found photography of fans, players, and areas around Seattle featuring the iconic "12" flag and fans and overlayed with the Seahawk Blue primary color. The collage is tied together with an impactful quote from Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll.
Process: Design Intent Pages
Examples of pages from the schematic deck created to explain design intent to the client. Calling out as much detail as possible for client and vendor to imagine the final execution while showcasing the artwork itself. Include each element's dimensions, material, color and final placement in the physical space
Process: Install + Vendor Collaboration
Working side by side with the install vendor on site to ensure the vision comes to life. Sometimes the measurements and placement of artwork work better on screen than the intended space so being on hand while install is happening in real time maximizes the potential for the best outcome.
